Vivo V15 Launched In India With Pop-up Camera

Early this week, we updated a report which said that Vivo may launch the Vivo V15 on March 15, however, that did not happen but today the smartphone brand launched the device in the Indian market.

The Vivo V15 features a 6.53 inch full HD+ FullView display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and the glass is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor and coupled with 6 GB of RAM. Talking about the storage, the smartphone supports 64 GB of onboard storage and that can be expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card.

Speaking about the camera, the Vivo V15 sports a triple rear camera setup and that consists of 12-megapixel (dual-pixel) primary sensor with an f/1.78 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, the smartphone comes with a pop-up selfie camera setup with a 32-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 lens. The device also supports the fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.

Connectivity wise, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Micro-USB (with OTG), GPS/ A-GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo V15 runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie, and the smartphone will ship on 4,000 mAh battery.

Regarding the pricing and availability, Vivo V15 has the price tag of ₹23,990 and the Vivo V15 will be available for pre-orders starting March 25, and will go on sale from April 1. The device will be sold via Vivo India e-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Tata CLiQ, and offline stores.
