Redmi Go Goes Official In India At ₹4,499

After being an independent smartphone brand Redmi launched a couple of devices including Android Go powered device early this year, and now the company has launched the smartphone in the Indian market and it is called the Redmi Go which is the first Android Go powered smartphone of the company as well as Xiaomi’s and any other sub-brand.

The Redmi Go has Android Go operating system and if you are unaware about that, then it is specially designed for the low-end smartphones which can able to perform smoothly and load applications without any lag.

Specifications of Redmi Go

The device sports a 5 inch display with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and paired with 1 GB of RAM along with Adreno 308 GPU for the graphical task. Talking about the storage, Redmi Go supports 8 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 128 GB via Micro SD card and the device also has unlimited storage option on the Google Photos in high-quality resolution.

Coming to the camera department, the Redmi Go has an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1.12-micron pixels, an f/2.0 aperture, full-HD video recording, apart from HDR features, real-time filters, and smart scene detection, and a single LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front camera, with 1.12-micron pixels and an f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and backed on 3,000 mAh battery.

Pricing and availability of Redmi Go

The smartphone is priced at ₹4,499 and it will be available from March 22 via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores from 12 p.m. IST onwards.
