Redmi launched its third smartphone of the Redmi Note 7 series in India, the new device is called Redmi Note 7S. And the smartphone is similar to the Redmi Note 7 which was unveiled in the market of China early this year.
Specifications of Redmi Note 7S
The device features a 6.3 inch full HD+ display and has 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display. The Redmi Note 7S is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset and the device is paired with 3 GB/4 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device has two storage variants – 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.
The device is coming with the dual camera set up at the back and that is in the combination of 48 megapixel + 5 megapixel. It also has a 13 megapixel front facing camera for the selfies and video calls. The device also comes with the fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock feature to give the additional layer of security to the users.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device runs on MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0 and ships on 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.
Pricing and availability
The 3GB RAM variant is priced at ₹10,999, while the 4GB RAM variant will have the price tag of ₹12,999. The smartphone will be available through Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores from May 23.
