Redmi is gearing up to launch its first flagship smartphone on May 28, but ahead of that today the company has launched its entry-level smartphone called Redmi 7A which is the successor of Redmi 6A. The company has launched the smartphone in China and did not announce the pricing and availability details, but we expect that the company will announce both the details at the unveiling stage of its flagship device.
Specifications of Redmi 7A
It sports 5.45-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 X 720 pixels resolution along with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and it will come in two variants 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and that can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone is also paired with Adreno 505 GPU for the graphical task.
Talking about the camera, the Redmi 7A rocks a 13MP primary sensor with PDAF and LED flash along with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also supports P2i nano-coating, and face unlock.
In terms of the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro USB. The device runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10, and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery.
