Amazon Unveils Upgraded Fire 7 Tablet

The e-Commerce giant Amazon has unveiled its 9th generation Fire 7 tablet and that is the upgraded version of the Fire 7 tablet which was unveiled in 2017. The new tablet comes with better specifications when we compared to the previous one. Specifications of Amazon Fire 7

The device sports 6.53 inch HD+ display with 1520 X 720 pixels resolution, along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and it was 90.70% screen to body ratio. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and paired with 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device offers two storage variants – 16GB and 32GB, and that can be expandable upto 512 GB via micro SD card.

Moving to the photography department, the Fire 7 rocks a single 2 megapixel rear camera along with 2 megapixel front camera. The device also supports stereo speakers to give amazing music experience to the users.

Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs on Fire OS 6.3 based on Android 7.1 Nougat, and offers up to 7 hours of battery on a single charge.

The 16 GB storage variant is priced at $49.99 and the 32 GB storage variant costs $69.99. It is now available for pre-order and will start shipping from 6th June.
