Today Redmi has officially unveiled the Redmi 7, the smartphone is fourth product after being an independent smartphone brand, let’s take a look at the specifications and other available details of the device.

It features a 6.26 inch HD+ display with 1520 X 720 pixels resolution and has 19:9 aspect ratio along with a waterdrop notch atop. It is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 processor and paired with 2/3/4 GB of RAM along with Adreno 506 GPU for the graphical task. Talking about the storage, the device will be available in 16/32/64 GB of onboard storage, and it also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot which will allow you to expand the storage upto 512 GB.

Moving to the photography department, Redmi 7 sports a dual rear camera set up and that is a combination of 12 megapixel with f/2.2 aperture + 2 megapixel with LED flash, along with an 8 megapixel front facing camera with artificial intelligence forward features. The smartphone will also support the fingerprint scanner to give an additional layer of security to the users.

Connectivity wise, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM Radio. The device runs on Android 9.0 with MIUI 10, and the whole setup is packed on 4,000 mAh battery.

Pricing and availability of Redmi 7

The 2 GB RAM variant is priced at ¥699, the 3 GB variant has the price tag of ¥799, and the 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage variant will be yours for ¥999. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders in China from today and the sale will start from March 26.
