In an attempt to capture the Rs. 20K above segment, Realme Launches two new smartphones in India – Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom. Along with smartphones, the company has also launched its new TWS Buds Q Earphones. These gadgets were earlier launched by the company in Europe and China respectively. The Realme X3 Series comes with processor and camera as the highlight Realme Buds Q is a budget offering from the company. Let us check out the features and specifications of the products, Realme launched today in India.

Realme X3 SuperZoom

Starting with the display, Realme X3 SuperZoom features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display sacrificed the AMOLED panel from its predecessor for a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display houses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and has a dual punch hole cut out towards the top left. It is HDR10+ certified as well.

Under the hood, we have the last year’s flagship SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855+ and Adreno 640 GPU. According to the company, this move saves the cost of a 5G modem that comes integrated with Snapdragon 865. It comes with 8/12 GB of LPDDR44x RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 3.0 storage options.

Moving to the optics the smartphone features a quad-rear camera setup. It has a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and the secondary camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with a periscope lens as well as 5x optical zoom or 60x digital zoom and supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) as well. The other cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.3 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone houses a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.5 aperture and an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture inside the punch hole for selfies. Realme has included special camera modes like starry mode for astrophotography and a tripod mode. Realme X3 SuperZoom has a fingerprint scanner on top of the power button for security.

It is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery and comes with a 30W SuperDart fast charger inside the box. The software is based on Realme UI 1.0 on top of Android 10. The connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C port.

Realme X3 SuperZoom is priced at INR 27,999 for the 8/12 GB versions and INR 32,999 for the 12/256 GB variant. The first sale of the smartphone will start from June 30 via Flipkart and Realme website. The company is also accepting pre-orders from 8 PM today till June 27.

Realme X3 shares most of the specifications and features with X3 SuperZoom. The main and only difference lies in the camera department. The processor, display, battery capacity remains the same.

The primary camera of 64 MP to of the lot remains same on both smartphones. However, the secondary camera 8 MP telephoto sensor that supports up to 2x optical zoom as compared to the 5x optical zoom on the X3 SuperZoom. The third camera remains the same, which is an 8 MP ultrawide angle camera and the last is a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera also gets a downgrade in the main sensor from 32-megapixels to 16-megapixels but retains the second 8-megapixel sensor for wide-angle shots.

Realme X3 costs ₹24,999 for the 6GB/128 GB variant and the 8/128 GB variant is priced at ₹25,999. Like Realme X3 SuperZoom, Realme X3 sale starts from June 30th on Flipkart and Realme website.

Along with the smartphones, Realme also launched a budget TWS Earphone called the Realme Buds Q. The in-ear style TWS Earphones aims the budget segment and comes in a pill-shaped charging case. The design was developed by acclaimed Designer Joseph Levy, Realme Buds Q offers 20 hours of music playback on a single charge. It has 10mm drivers for producing the thumping bass.

The TWS Earphones support Bluetooth 5.0. Other features include auto-pairing and IPX4 Rating. According to the company, Buds Q has a latency of 119 milliseconds. It supports touch control for music playback adjustment that can be changed by installing the Realme Link app from Play Store. The Charging case supports up to 30 Watt charging and can be topped up in under an hour. It’s available in Black, White and Yellow colors. It is priced at INR 1,999 and will be available on Flipkart from July 1.
