Oppo Find X2 Series Comes to India with 120 Hz, QHD+ Display and 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge.
Earlier today Oppo Unveiled their Flagship offering for 2020 in India. The Find X2 Series was unveiled back in March for the international market and now it finally makes its way to the country. The Find X2 Pro goes all guns blazing with all of the Oppo’s expertise packed into one smartphone. Technically there are two smartphones – Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. These share most of the specifications and features except for the periscopic camera in the Find X2 Pro and the build. Let us check out the smartphones in detail and find if its worth your attention.
Display
Starting with the display, both Find X2 Pro and Find X2 share a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution. It supports 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling. Oppo has enabled 10-bit colours, HDR10 and 100% DCI-P3 colour for your viewing pleasure. The display has a punch hole towards the top-left corner and is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
Camera
Shifting our focus to the camera department, Both Find X2 and Find X2 Pro has a total of three rear cameras, unlike other flagship smartphones. But Oppo has proved the quality is what matters and not quantity. Both smartphone feature 48MP Sony IMX586 with f/1.7 aperture as the primary camera. It also supports OIS, Laser Autofocus and PDAF. Its followed by a 13 MP telephoto camera. The Find X2 offers a 5x hybrid zoom. The periscope lens inside Find X2 Pro offers 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. The last of the three cameras are responsible for producing ultrawide angle shots, There is a 12 MP ultrawide angle camera with Sony IMX708 sensor in the Find X2 whereas the Find X2 Pro has a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor.
The camera features RAW picture mode, Ultra Steady Video Pro mode and an Ultra Night Mode. The ultrawide camera also doubles up as a macro camera when the subject is closer up to 3 cm. The selfie snapper is a 32MP Sony IMX616 quad-Bayer sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Other Features
Both the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm. In terms of memory and storage, they have 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage. In addition, the Find X2 Pro offers a 512 GB variant too. Oppo has not included any options to expand the storage, which isn’t necessary considering how large the internal storage is.
The software is based on ColorOS 7.1, on top of Android 10. The connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Oppo Find X2 is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery and Find X2 Pro is powered by 4,260 mAh battery. Both smartphones have 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charger inside the box, which can charge the battery from 0 to 100% in under 30 minutes. They also support IP68 water and dust resistance and a special X-axis motor, matching the standards set by Google Pixel.
Pricing and Availability
Oppo Find X2 is priced at ₹64,990 for the 12 GB RAM, 256 GB variant. The Find X2 Pro has a special edition with a ceramic finish on the rear along with the gloss finish that is also found on the Find X2. We do not have the pricing information of Find X2 Pro at the moment. Oppo also has not revealed any details regarding the date of the sales. The Find X2 Series will be available in both online and offline stores.
