Oppo Reno 4 Pro and Oppo Watch Launched in India

Oppo  has brought the Reno 4 Pro and Oppo Watch to India. They were launched in China last month. Oppo Reno 4 Pro aims to compete in the mid-premium segment in India with its fast charging tech, camera prowess and stunning look and finish. When it comes to Oppo Watch, it is the first smartwatch from the company and it is based on Google’s Wear OS. Let us check them out and find about their features and specifications in detail.

The device features a 6.5″ Full HD+ AMOLED Display with curves on both sides. The display features a 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling. It also comes with HDR10+ rating and the single selfie camera is housed on the top-left of the display inside a punch hole. Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

Coming to the photography department, the latest smartphone features a quad rear camera setup that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor followed by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor ultra-wide-angle lens from Sony. These are followed by two 2-megapixel cameras for macro shots and monochrome shots. The smartphone is also offering a single front-facing camera with 32-megapixel resolution.

For security, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the face unlock to provide an extra layer of security. Regarding the connectivity options, it supports 3.5 mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs Android 10-based Color OS 7.2 and the same packs 4,000 mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology which can top up the phone from 0% to 100% in under 30 minutes. The smartphone weighs just 172 grams.

Oppo Reno 4 is priced at ₹34,990 and it will be available from August 5 via Flipkart.

Moving to the Oppo Watch, it is powered by the Wear OS by Google. Resembling the Apple Watch it comes in two sizes- 41mm and 46mm. The 41mm strap comes in Elegant Black, Rose Gold, and Fog Silver whereas the 46mm version is offered in Black and Rose Gold. The 41mm variant features a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a 320×360 pixel resolution, And the 46mm variant features a 1.91-inch AMOLED screen with 402×476 pixel resolution. Oppo Watch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 and Ambiq Micro Apollo 3 processor respectively.

It features 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. It comes with a plethora of sensors such as 3-axis accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure sensor, optical heart rate sensor and ambient light sensor. These sensors together work to track various activities such as running, walking, cycling, swimming and so on.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE via eSIM, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The Oppo Watch is compatible with all smartphones running Android 6.0 or above. It is water-resistant as well. The company claims the 41 mm watch can last up to 24 hours on a single charge, thanks to its 3,00 mAh battery whereas the 46mm Oppo Watch can last 12 hours more owing to its 430 mAh battery.

The 41mm variant of Oppo Watch is priced at ₹14,990 while the 46mm one is priced at ₹19,990. It will be available on Amazon from August 10 and is also eligible for a ₹500 discount for pre-paid orders.
