After unveiling the new Galaxy Note 10 series a couple of weeks ago, now the South Korean electronics brand Samsung has launched in the devices in the market of India. Let’s have a look at the pricing and availability of the devices in India along with the specification details.
Specifications of Galaxy Note 10
The smartphone sports 6.3 inch AMOLED HDR+ display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, along with 19:9 aspect ratio, it offers a 90.9% screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device also features a punch hole at the center of the display. It is powered by the Exynos 9825 processor and the device will be powered by 8 GB of RAM and has 256 GB of internal storage and that can’t be expandable via MicroSD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the Galaxy Note 10 rocks triple rear cameras at back and that’s in the combination of 12-megapixel f/2.1 telephoto lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 45-degree field-of-view + 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.4) and a 77-degree field-of-view, OIS + ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field-of-view paired with a 16-megapixel f/2.2 sensor. Up front, the device features a 10-megapixel f/2.2 camera with autofocus and an 80-degree field-of-view. The device supports the In-display Fingerprint Scanner for the additional layer of security, along with Samsung DeX, Wireless PowerShare, AKG-tuned sound, Samsung Pay, Knox security features, and IP68 support.
It also comes with a new S Pen and added new features which include Air Actions. By pressing and holding the button on the S Pen and moving around the stylus, you can trigger certain actions within apps.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Galaxy Note 10 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It’s running Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own One UI on top, and it features an AI-based Game Booster for enhancing the gaming experience. The whole setup is backed on a 3,500 mAh battery and comes with 25W fast charging support as well as Qi/PMA 20W wireless charging.
Specifications of Galaxy Note 10 Plus
The big brother of the Galaxy Note 10 comes with some improvements in different departments of the device, apart from that everything is identical. So, let’s check out what’s the difference between them. It features a 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and 498 ppi. It also has HDR+ supported and has 19:9 aspect ratio. The camera is the same as Galaxy Note 10, but this variant gets ToF depth sensor as well. With ToF sensor, there is an AR feature which creates 3D models of real-life objects.
It will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256/512GB of onboard storage, and also supports the MicroSD expansion up to 1TB. And it will be hybrid SIM setup in dual SIM models. The device ships on a big 4300mAh battery with massive 45W fast charging, it’s fastest Samsung device charging right now. But the 45W charger needs to buy separately, as the in-box charger will only be of 25W.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is priced at ₹69,999 while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ carries a price tag of ₹79,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while its 512GB storage option is priced at ₹89,999. Both the devices will go on sale from August 23.
