The first 5G smartphone of Galaxy F-series, Samsung Galaxy F52 5G, has been unveiled in the market of China. The same had launched in India last year, and the smartphone is now available only in China. Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, a high refresh rate, and quad rear cameras are some main features of the device. Features of Samsung Galaxy F52 5G
The device has launched with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the smartphone is 1,080×2,408 pixels. It packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC as well as 8GB of RAM. It is based on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.
Regarding the camera, the handset supports the quad rear camera setup. It consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. The gadget also includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens.
Speaking about the connectivity option, the device features Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It houses 128GB onboard storage that can expand via microSD card (up to 1TB). The company has added magnetometer, accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as all other phones have.
The device comes with an Eye Protection mode as well as a Night mode. The handset is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The company has unveiled the smartphone with the price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,700) for 8GB RAM + 128GB model. The users get the latest device in Dusky Black and Magic White colours. Pre-orders have started in China. The company doesn’t reveal the global availability and pricing. Besides, it is not sure whether the company will introduce the same version, or bring a rebranded variant in the Galaxy M-series instead.
