Early this year, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A50 smartphone and the company also launched the device in the market of India as well. Now today the company has rolled out a new update for the device which brings July security patch along with other improvements. The latest software update of the device brings the July security patch which means it is now tuned to defend any unwanted things. The update also brings the QR scanner shortcut and some improvements to the camera as well as Wi-Fi. The update weighs 190 MB in size and it is now available in India.

Samsung rolling out the update via OTA and if you didn’t receive the update yet, then you can check for the latest update manually by heading to the settings app of the device.

Speaking about the Galaxy A50, the device features is 6.4 inch Super AMOLED infinity-U display with full HD+ resolution. It is powered by Exynos 9610 processor and paired with 4/6GB of RAM, the device will support 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 512 GB via MicroSD card.

The device rocks triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of 25 megapixel + 5 megapixel + 8 megapixel along with 25 megapixel front facing camera. The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on Samsung One UI which is based on Android Pie, and the device will ship on a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
