LG V30 Receives Android Pie Update

The South Korean electronics brand LG finally started to roll out the last year’s operating system i.e. Android 9.0 to the LG V30 smartphone. The rollout is very interesting because next month the Mountain View company Google is all set to launch the new Android Q and LG remembers to roll out Android 9 now.

LG rolling out the new build in Europe for units with model number H930. It carries version number PKQ1.190414.001 and includes the July 1, 2019 security patch. We don’t have information about the complete the changelog but a user who received the update said that it brings new animation for the notification along with a notification light ring for the Always-on display, you can read more by heading over the link.

Speaking about the smartphone, it features 6 inch FullVision Plastic Quad HD+ display with 18:9 aspect, the new V30, has secondary display with the Floating Bar and with the Always-on Display. It is powered by octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and the device is paired with 4 GB RAM, along with 64 GB and it can be expandable upto 200 GB via SD card.

It rocks dual rear camera setup – 16 megapixel standard with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree lens, LDAF, PDAF, OIS, EIS, Hybrid Auto-focus + 13 megapixel wide-angle with f/1.9 aperture, 120-degree lens and LED flash. The device also has 5 megapixel wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture and 90-degree lens.

The device supports 4G VoLTE connectivity, along with the Bluetooth 5.0. The device also has the ability for NFC and USB Type-C 2.0. Moreover, the device also supports for Daydream, fingerprint scanner, Voice Recognition, and HDR10. It is backed on 3,300 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless Charging.
