After lots of leaks, rumors, and teasers, Realme has launched its latest Realme 8 series and the smartphone series included two devices – the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. Both the smartphones coming with a cool designing setup along with heavy specifications on the board. Specifications of Realme 8 Pro
The smartphone features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole setup as well as a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G mobile chipset along with Adreno 618 GPU for the graphical task. It is matted with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that is expandable via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The smartphone has packed a 4,500mAh battery with 50W SuperDart Charge fast charging technology and the charger comes with the phone inside the box. In terms of software, the smartphone runs Android 11–based Realme UI 2.0.

Coming to the vanilla variant – Realme 8, shares the specifications with the elder brother but there are some differences in different departments. Realme 8 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor along with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. The device is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that is also expandable via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
Regarding the camera, the Realme 8 features a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, and the same coming with a 5,000mAh battery with a 30W Dart Charge fast charging and you will get the charger inside the box. Apart from this, the rest of the specifications are the same as the Pro variant.
Pricing and availability
Realme 8 Pro with 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹17,999 while the 8GB + 128GB variant costs ₹19,999. On the other hand, Realme 8 with 4GB + 128GB variant costs ₹14,999, while 6GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹15,999, and 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹16,999.
Realme 8 series will go on sale in India starting March 25 at 12 pm via Flipkart, the Realme India website, and mainline stores.
