Nokia X71 Goes Official; Here’s Everything You Need To Know

HMD Global – who has the official licensee of the Nokia mobile has unveiled its latest smartphone and that is called Nokia X71. The company unveiled the device in the market of Taiwan and it is the first smartphone of the brand which comes with the punch-hole display. The device is also part of the Android One program which means users will get the near stock Android experience as well as the regular software update.

Specifications of Nokia X71

The smartphone features a 6.4 inch full HD+ PureDisplay and that has 19:3:9 aspect ratio, it offers 93% screen to body ratio. The device is coming with punch hole setup which means the device has in display front facing camera. It is powered by octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and matted with 6 GB of RAM along with Adreno 512 GPU. Regarding the storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 256 GB via microSD card.

Coming to the photography department, the Nokia X71 rocks a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of 48 MP main sensor with 6P lens and f/1.8 aperture + 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens + 5 MP depth sensor, along with 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone also supports Fingerprint scanner, and OZO 360-degree surround sound.

Speaking about the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port. The Nokia X71 is the part of the Android One program, and it runs a near-stock version of Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The device is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging technology.

Pricing and availability of Nokia X71

The Nokia X71 is priced at TWD 11,990 (approx. $389) in Taiwan and is scheduled to go on sale starting from April 30th.
