Nokia X6 Launched As Nokia 6.1 Plus For Global Market
Back in May, HMD Global unveiled Nokia X6 in China and it was the first smartphone of the company with the notch. Well, today the smartphone brand launched the device as Nokia 6.1 Plus for the global market. That said, apart from the rebranding, there aren’t any other changes between the underlying hardware and changes.
Specification of Nokia 6.1 Plus
The Nokia 6.1 Plus sports a 5.8 inch of Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 2880×1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, and protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa core processor and paired with 4 GB RAM, along with Adreno 509 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB of internal storage, and it can be expandable via microSD card.
Speaking about the photography department, the Nokia 6.1 Plus has dual camera which the combination of 16 megapixel rear camera with RGB (f/2.0 aperture, 1.0 μm pixel size) + 5 megapixel Monochrome (f/2.4 aperture, 1.12 μm pixel size) with EIS and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the device has a 16 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0 μm pixel size. Moreover, the device has the fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature for security.
Regarding the connectivity, the device supports 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB OTG, USB Type-C 2.0. It runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with promised update of Android P, and it is backed on a 3,060 mAh battery.
Pricing and availability of Nokia 6.1 Plus
The device has the price tag of HKD 2288 (approx. ₹20,066), and it will be available in Hong Kong from July 24. That said, it will be launch in other countries soon.
