Nokia 2.1 Receives Android Pie Update

The Nokia 2.1 which was unveiled in last year now receives the latest version of Android builds. The company has started rolling out the updates to the device.

Juho Sarvikas – Chief Product Officer at HMD Global – who tweeted “Get it while it’s hot! Our latest Android 9 Pie update is rolling out now. Nokia 2.1 just keeps getting better.”

The device features a 5.5 inch HD display with 1280 x720 pixels resolution, it is powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz and paired with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSd Card.

Talking about the camera, the Nokia 2.1 rocks an 8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and LED flash, along with a 5 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, it has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM Radio.

The Nokia 2.1 is powered by Android Go program, which results in it on running pure stock and lite version of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with fast updates and specified light weight apps. It ships on a whopping 4,000 mAh battery.
