The South Korean LG has announced a new device in the ‘Q series‘, and the device is dubbed as LG Q8 (2018), the device is a successor of last year’s LG Q8. It is coming with military grade protection and that is ‘MIL-STD 810G‘ certified design with IP68 dust and water-resistant. That said, the company claims that the smartphone has tested in 14 conditions which includes the shock, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity for a stable performance. Moreover, the device also has a built-in ‘stylus pen’ with pop-memo, GIF editing and more.

The LG Q8 (2018) comes with a 6.2 inch FullVision display and have FullHD+ resolution along with 18:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the smartphone has a notch on the top of the display. The smartphone is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor and paired with 4 GB of RAM along with the Adreno 506 GPU. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB of internal storage and it can be expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card.

Moving to the camera department, the LG Q8 (2018) has 16 megapixel rear camera with PDAF, and LED flash, along with 5 megapixel front camera with 100 degrees wide-angle lens, Portrait mode, and QLens. The device also has the fingerprint scanner, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

Regarding the connectivity, the device supports 4G, micro USB, 3.5 mm, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.1 and the device is backed on 3,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Talking about the pricing and availability, the device is priced at 539,000 Won (approx. ₹32,930). The device will be available in Korea very soon, but there is no word about the availability of the device in other parts of the globe.
