After launching the BlackBerry KEY2 in India, now today the Canadian brand BlackBerry has launched two more devices in the Indian market and the devices are called BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X. Both the smartphones are identical in terms of design and specification. That said, unlike the BlackBerry KEY2, these two devices don’t feature the company’s traditional physical QWERTY keyboard.
BlackBerry Evolve
It sports 5.99-inch Full-HD+ along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, it is protected with the Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by 1.8 GHz octa core Snapdragon 450 processor and coupled with 4 GB RAM, along with Adreno 506 GPU. The device has 64 GB internal storage and can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Coming to the photography department, the device has a dual camera setup at the back that’s in the combination of 13 megapixel (RGB) + 13 megapixel (Monochrome) with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone also has 16 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device supports the fingerprint scanner and DTEK Security. It features 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C for connectivity. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it has the price tag of ₹24,990 and it will be available in the country later this month through Amazon India.
BlackBerry Evolve X
Moving to the BlackBerry Evolve X, this smartphone sports 5.99-inch Full-HD+ along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, it is protected with the Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by 2.2 GHz octa core Snapdragon 660 processor and coupled with 6 GB RAM, along with Adreno 512 GPU. The device has 64 GB internal storage and can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Coming to the photography department, the device has a dual camera setup at the back that’s in the combination of 12 megapixel (f/1.8 aperture) + 13 megapixel (f/2.6 aperture, telephoto lens) with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone also has 16 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device supports the fingerprint scanner and DTEK Security. It features 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C for connectivity. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless Charging.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it has the price tag of ₹34,990 and it will be available in the next month through Amazon India.
