If we are to believe what Evan Blass, infamous among the tech-world for his reliable and accurate leaks have posted on Twitter, Android P is coming on the 20th of August this year.

Google has already released the fourth Android P beta and it is only a matter of time before the official announcement of the release of the new version of the Android OS. Google usually releases the new version of Android in August so Evan might be accurate with this leak too. Evan shared an image of a calendar of this month with the letter P inside the block of August 20. Blass tipped the exact information about the release of Android Oreo too.

That being said, the date falls around the same with the release of previous versions of Android i.e. Nougat and Oreo (which were released on August 21). Google is expected to announce the name of the OS, which could be Peppermint of Pistachio. The new version will debut on the Pixel Devices first and then, on the Android One device. Manufacturers like Samsung and LG will take more time to roll out the new version of the OS starting with their flagship line-up.
