Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Unveiled With Dual Rear Cameras, 5,500 mAh Battery And More
The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone called Mi Max 3, this device is the successor of last year’s Mi Max 2. That said, the new smartphone is coming with the improvements in the specification and design than the predecessor. So, let’s check out the specs, pricing, and availability details of the Mi Max 3.
Specification of the Mi Max 3
The device sports a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ 2.5D curved glass display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor and paired with 4 and 6 GB RAM, along with Adreno 509 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB of internal storage with 4 GB RAM variant and the 6 GB RAM variant has 128 GB of onboard storage. Moreover, the device also allows to expand the storage upto 256 GB via microSD card. That said, the device has a dedicated slot for the microSD card, which means you don’t have to sacrifice your secondary SIM for the additional storage.
Moving to the photography department, the Mi Max 3 has the dual camera setup at the back which is in the combination of 12 megapixel + 5 megapixel with 1.4 μm pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, AI Portrait Mode, AI Scene Recognition, 4K/1080p/720p video recording at 30 FPS, Dual PD Focus and LED flash. And there is an 8 megapixel front camera with 1.12 μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, AI Portrait Mode, AI Beauty Mode and Soft Flash.
The device also supports the Fingerprint Scanner, AI Face Recognition, AI Voice Assistant, and Amplifier Stereo. Talking about the connectivity, the device supports dual Nano SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and GPS. The Mi Max 3 runs on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on MIUI, and it is backed on 5,500 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 and Reverse Charging, that will allow users to charge other devices.
Pricing and availability of Mi Max 3
The 4 GB RAM variant is priced at ¥1699 (approx. ₹17,345), and the 6 GB RAM variant has the price tag of ¥1999 (approx. ₹20,400). The device will be available in China from July 20, and there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
