After launching Sony Xperia 5 a couple of months ago, today the Japanese electronics giant Sony has unveiled a new smartphone called Sony Xperia 8 and the device is falling into the mid-range category. The device will be limited in its home country i.e. Japan and it will be available later this month. Specifications of Sony Xperia 8

It features a 6 inch display with Full HD+ resolution, and the device also sports a 21:9 aspect ratio along with the protection of Gorilla Glass 6. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and matted with 4 GB of RAM, along with 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.

Talking about the camera department, the new Sony Xperia 8 rocks dual rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 12MP f/1.8 aperture primary camera along with an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide angle camera. At the front, the smartphone has an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone also supports the fingerprint scanner, and it also has IP65/68 rating

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack with LDAC, and USB Type-C port. The Sony Xperia 8 runs on Android 9 and ships on 2,760 mAh with support for 18W fast charging.

It is priced at JPY 54,000 and it will available in Japan by later this month.
