The South Korean based electronics giant Samsung finally launched the long rumored Android Go powered smartphone, and the device is called the Galaxy A2 Core, the device has launched in the Indian market for an affordable price tag. What is Android Go?

This flavor is the latest one from the search engine giant Google and it replaces the Android One program. The Android Go is meant for entry-level smartphones. The Android Go is a trimmed version of Android and it is optimized for the devices which have the low processing power, RAM, and storage. Moreover, Google has also launched Go version applications like Google Go, Maps Go, YouTube Go, Assistant Go, and the Go version means lite version. Having said that, Android Go is not coming directly from Google, as Google send it to a maker (to say Nokia) and then the maker releases release the update when they are rolled out from Google.

Talking about the storage, the supports 16GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 256 GB via micro SD card.

Moving to the camera department, the Galaxy A2 Core rocks a 5 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash along with the 5 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for the selfies and video calls. And below the camera module, the smartphone features speaker grill.

In terms of the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It runs Android 9 Pie (Go Edition), and ships on 2,600 mAh battery.
