Redmi K50i Receives BIS Certification And Is Soon To Be Launched In India

Xiaomi is expected to release new Redmi smartphones in India. The Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ smartphones were rumoured to be coming to India as the Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i Pro smartphones last month. The Redmi K50i has now been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website, indicating that the smartphone will be released in India.

The Indian variant of the Redmi Note 11T Pro, the Redmi K50i, has recently received BIS certification, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. The model number of the upcoming smartphone is revealed in the BIS listing. As a result, Xiaomi is expected to release the smartphone in India soon.

Xiaomi may soon launch the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ smartphones in India as the Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i Pro, according to tipster Kacper Skrzypek. According to reports, the company will release smartphones with the same set of specifications.

Redmi K50i Specifications

The Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ have a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×246 pixels. Both smartphones’ displays have a variable refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision.

An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage powers the pair. The smartphones run the Android 12 operating system, which is topped with MIUI 13, the company’s own user interface.

The dual SIM phones have a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Both smartphones have a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The IP53 rating on the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ designates the smartphones as splash-resistant. The Redmi Note 11T Pro has a 4400mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ has a 5080mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
