The much-anticipated foldable smartphone Oppo Find N was presented during the ongoing Oppo INNO Day 2021 event. The device has been in the news for a few years, and the company’s latest foldable smartphone is the result of four years of research and development. The gadget is equipped with a high-refresh-rate display and is powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor. On this foldable Smartphone, the company offers a total of 5 cameras. Oppo Find N Specifications
On the outside, the gadget has a 5.49-inch OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, while the inward folding display, named Oppo Serene Display, has a 7.1-inch display when the device is unfurled. In addition to 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology, the display has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a 1,000 nit maximum brightness.
The newly unveiled foldable smartphone is also said to have a 12-layer display structure and an ultra-thin glass (0.03mm). The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC is at the heart of the new Oppo Find N 2, which is combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Oppo has equipped the smartphone with a 4500mAh battery that enables 33W SuperVOOC wired charging, 15W AirVOOC wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
In terms of camera, the Oppo Find N has a total of five cameras, including a triple rear camera setup protected by a ceramic lens plate, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766, a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens, all of which provide 3x optical zoom. It also has a 32-megapixel front camera that can be found on the outer display, as well as another 32-megapixel camera on the inside display.
It has a Flexform Mode and runs on an Android-based customized operating system. It automatically splits the top and bottom of the screen, creating a laptop-like working environment.This device comes with a range of multitasking capabilities, including a Two-Finger Split gesture, which allows a user to swipe two fingers in the centre of the screen to open a multi-screen interface for multitasking. Users will be able to save their tasks in a split window on the home screen, which will be represented by an icon.
The smartphone also has a four-finger zoom feature, which allows users to bring up a floating window that can be called by squeezing the main screen with four fingers.
The latest Oppo Find N also comes with a Parallel Window mode, which allows you to have a video chat on one side of the device while doing other things like messaging on the other.
Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is also collaborating with various manufacturers to deliver an improved in-car navigation system on the newly unveiled Oppo Find N. It also comes with a special split-camera user interface, which allows users to capture photographs on one side of the device using the inner display and then view, share, or delete the current shot on the other side.
It also includes a Dolby Atmos stereo speaker system and an X-axis linear motor. The smartphone features 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection for communication. A fingerprint sensor on the phone’s side adds an extra degree of protection.
Pricing and Availability
OPPO Find N costs 7,699 Yuan for the 8GB+256GB model and 8,999 Yuan for the 12GB+512GB model. You can book the device in the China market and the sales will begin on December 23.
