Nubia has launched the latest devices RedMagic 6, and RedMagic 6 Pro in the market of China. It is a gaming smartphone, and has RGB lighting. A logo of a famous gaming company is seen on the back. Let’s check the pricing, availability, and other details of the new smartphones.
Features of RedMagic 6 and 6 Pro
The RedMagic 6 comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, and the refresh rate is 165Hz. The resolution of the device is 2400×1080 pixel, screen-body ratio is 91.28%, and has SGS certification for low smear & blue-light. Moreover, it features 10-bit colour and covers 100% of DCI-P3 colour gamut. The contrast ratio of the handset is 1000000:1 and have a 6th gen in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Coming to camera, the device consists of a triple rear camera 64MP and 8MP (ultrawide). The company also offers 2MP (macro) as well as a 8MP front camera. RedMagic 6 includes 4K video, HDR support and in-house Neovision camera optimizations, Cyberpunk filters etc. RedMagic 6 has the support of a 5,050mAh battery with 66W charging as well as RedMagic 6 Pro houses a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W charging.
Talking about the connectivity, smartphone features 3.5mm audio jack, Dual Stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 2*2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, BeiDou, SA/NSA 5G DTS X Ultra and Qualcomm aptX support. The operating system is Android 11 with RedMagic OS 4.0 on top.
The game lovers handset supports two shoulder IC-touch buttons on the right side with up to 400Hz touch response rate. Tencent Solar core Engine & RedMagic Arc Reactor Performance, Frame Optimization 2.0, RAM Boost, and Tencent Mobile Game Accelerator, superconducting copper-foil, Thermal Gel, VC heat sink, Graphene, cooling Canyon Air Duct, and an extra Aviation-grade cooling Ice plate with seven layers are other features of the smartphone.
Design of Nubia RedMagic 6 Series
It has a ‘Mecha Sci-Fi’ design as its back is carbon fibre texture and has asymmetrical lighting. There is a Tencent logo as well as a lighting RedMagic logo. Cyber Neon colours with Blue and Purple Gradient design and Carbon Fiber Black will be available in the market. Pro model has Aviation grade Aluminum alloy and glass finish. It is available in Iron Black and Ice Blade Silver colours. The other peculiarities are a Transparent Limited Edition with lighting for cooling the fan inside.
Pricing and Availability
The Nubia RedMagic 6 comes with the price tag of CNY 3,799 ($588) for the 8+128GB model. The 12+128GB variant costs CNY 4,099 ($634). Pricing tag of a 12+256GB model is CNY 4,399 ($680). At the same time, the Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro comes with the price tag of CNY 4,399 ($680) for the 12+128GB model. The 12+256GB model costs at CNY 4,799 ($741) while the 16+256GB variant is available at CNY 5,299 ($819). The RedMagic 6 Pro Special Edition comes with a price tag of CNY 5,599 ($865) for 16+256GB model. The 18+512GB version costs CNY 6,599 ($1,020).
The official sale will start from March 11. The smartphone will be available via the Nubia website, JD.com and so on.
