Nothing Phone (1) Is Confirmed To Be Available For Purchase On Flipkart
The company’s first smartphone, Nothing Phone (1), will be released in Summer 2022. The Nothing Phone (1) will be available in India later this year, according to the makers. The company has kept its first smartphone under wraps. However, nothing has been confirmed that the Phone (1) will be available for purchase on Flipkart before the launch.
Nothing’s collaboration with Flipkart for the Phone (1) is unsurprising. Last year, the Carl Pei-owned company debuted its first TWS, the Nothing Ear (1), in India. Flipkart is the only place to buy it.
Nothing in the document specifies that its cooperation with Flipkart for the Phone (1) “is an extension of a successful partnership that began in 2021,” as it intends to capitalise on the enormous market potential currently available.
“As a consumer-centric platform, we are always bringing new innovative items and brands that fulfil ever-changing customer desires,” said Ajay Veer Yadav, Senior Vice President of Flipkart. “We are thrilled to deliver Nothing’s much-anticipated Phone (1) to Indian consumers, and we are convinced that it will be yet another exciting milestone in the smartphone industry,” he continued.
At the time, very little known about the Nothing Phone (1). In an exclusive interview with India Today Tech, the business stated that the Nothing Phone (1) will be released in India between July and August, along with the rest of the world. “India is a significant market for Nothing, and the global and Indian launches of Nothing Phone (1) will happen on the same day (1, as well).” The launch will take place between July and August, according to Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager of Nothing India.
Sharma stated that the Phone (1) will primarily target tech-savvy or design-conscious users, without revealing the device’s features. Sharma further asserted that Phone (1) will break up the design monotony.
Furthermore, we know that Nothing Phone (1) will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. It will ship with the most recent Android 12 update, with Nothing OS installed on top. Nothing is expected to be announced regarding the debut date in the coming days.
