Nokia 2, the entry-level smartphone which was unveiled in 2017 with Android Nougat version and the company rolled out Android Oreo in this year. The company also promised that the device will get two major Android updates but now it confirms that the device will not get any more updates which means there will be no Android Pie update for the Nokia 2.
The customer support of the company promised that the device will get the Android Pie update but did not reveal the exact timeline. However, now the Nokia community admin has confirmed that it was some misunderstanding and the device will not get Android Pie update.
Well, the HMD Global has a reputation of giving regular software updates and people loved the brand for this. But this is totally injustice to all the users who purchased the Nokia 2 smartphone, we hope that the company will change its decision or it will roll out the security patches continuously.
