The company has introduced the latest JioTag 2 with the support of both Apple’s Find My network and Google’s Find Hub straight out of the box. The device also features a 120dB built-in speaker for proximity alerts and locating misplaced items.
It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and the device comes with a refreshed design compared to the previous generation. The device is said to offer over 1 year of battery life on a single battery.
The latest JioTag 2 relies on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for nearby tracking. It is worth mentioning that the device does not require a SIM card or a recharge plan.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest JioTag 2 is priced at ₹1,249, with select bank offers reducing the effective price to around ₹1,199. You can purchase the device through Amazon India. It is available in Black, Red, and Green color options.
