The latest smartphone, iQOO Neo 5 5G, has been unveiled in the market of China. It is the new device of the company in the iQOO 5 lineup. The company offers a high refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, and 1300 nits brightness. Features of iQOO Neo 5 5G
The device features a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED. The resolution is 2,400×1,080 pixels as well as the refresh rate is 120Hz. Moreover, it features 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and 1300 nits brightness. It also has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. The smartphone launches with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, Adreno 650 GPU and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. It has an 256GB expandable UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of the optics, the handset features triple cameras at the back. It consists of a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor followed by a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens and 2.5cm macro camera. The company has also added a 2MP (f/2.4) mono sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. An in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and Hi-Fi audio are the other specifications of the smartphone.
Speaking about the connectivity, the handset supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, SA/NSA, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The operating system is Android 11-based OriginOS. It has a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast-charging.
Pricing and availability
The pricing tag of the iQOO Neo 5 is RMB 2,499 for the 8GB+128GB base model. The 8GB+256GB model costs RMB 2,699. The 12GB+256GB version sells at RMB 2,999. The company comes with Black, Cloud Blue, and Pixel Orange colours. It is currently up for pre-orders in China via the company’s website.
