iQOO, the sub-brand of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Vivo, is coming with flagship model named iQOO 7 in China. The latest device, launching with Snapdragon 888 chipset, runs on the new Android 11. Let’s check the features, pricing and availability of the handset.
Features of iQOO 7
The company offers a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution. The device has a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it has a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. It also features a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The device is coming with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile chipset coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Regarding storage, the company is offering up to 256 GB of internal storage.
Regarding the optics, the handset comes with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.79) and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2). It also features with a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with (f/2.46). The capacity of the selfie camera is 16-megapixel. The smartphone is launching with in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock to provide an extra layer of protection.
Speaking the connectivity, the device features GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port. It supports a total of 4000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. iQOO 7 is running on Android 11 with OriginOS for iQOO on top.
Pricing and availability
The starting price of the device is CNY 3,798 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB. Moreover, the pricing of the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is CNY 4,198. The sale of the smartphone will start in China from January 15th.
