Huawei is in the market with a new budget mobile phone named Huawei Nova Y60. The company provides a huge battery and triple rear camera setup. It features a waterdrop-style notch display and MediaTek mobile platform. Let’s check the pricing, availability, and other details of the newly launched smartphone from Huawei. 

Features of Huawei Nova Y60 

The new mobile phone sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. The resolution is 1600 X 720 pixels. Moreover, it packs a MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC along with 4GB of RAM. The company has included  64GB of internal storage.

In terms of the optic, the new smartphone packs a triple rear camera setup. It is the combination of a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, followed by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Besides, it has a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The latest device comes with a 8-megapixel front camera. 

The handset houses a 5,000mAh battery. It runs on EMUI 11.01 based on Android 11 out of the box. Besides, it houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the connectivity option, the mobile phone features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS.

Pricing and availability

The new Huawei Nova Y60 costs ZAR 3,099. The company plans to start the sale from September 1.
