The Chinese smartphone maker has launched the latest Honor 50 Series in China. The latest devices are Honor 50, Honor 50 SE, and Honor 50 Pro. It is the first device of the Honor that features GMS support. Fast charging, 108MP rear camera, and a higher refresh rate are common specifications of the gadgets. Features of Honor 50 Pro
The device supports a curved 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 300 Hz touch sampling rate. It has 10-bit color as well as a 120Hz refresh rate which is dynamic in nature. Moreover, both Honor 50 and 50 Pro ship a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G mobile platform and up to 12GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, it supports a quad-camera module. It consists of a 108 MP primary camera with a 1/1.52-inch sensor that shoots photos with 9-to-1 pixel binning technology. An 8MP sensor is ultra-wide-angle. There are two 2MP sensors to click macro shots and portrait shots. A pill-shaped punch hole houses two selfie cameras with 32MP and 12MP resolution.
The handset comes with Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top. The company has included GMS support out of the box. It has the support of a 4,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging.
Features of Honor 50
The handset sports a curved 6.57-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display and rear camera features are similar to the Pro model. It has only a single 32 MP selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 4,300 mAh battery which also supports 66W wired charging.
Features of Honor 50 SE
The Honor 50 SE supports a flat 6.78-inch LCD display. The refresh rate is 120Hz. Unlike the Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50, it packs the Mediatek Dimensity 900 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Coming to the camera, the primary camera is 108MP. An ultra-wide-angle camera of an 8MP and a 2MP sensor for macro shots has been included in the camera setup. It houses a 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor 50 is priced at CNY 2,699 ($422) while the Honor 50 Pro costs CNY 3,699 ($578). The Honor 50 SE will be available for CNY 2,399 ($375) from July 2nd in China. Honor 50 Series will launch in 40 international markets.
