On Thursday, June 9, Black Shark introduced its gaming flagship Black Shark 5 series, which includes the vanilla Black Shark 5 and the Black Shark 5 Pro. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipsets are used in these devices. They have magnetic pop-up triggers, a 144Hz display, and a liquid cooling system for gaming. The Xiaomi-owned company had already introduced the Black Shark 5 series in March of this year. The base edition of the Black Shark 5 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs $799 (approximately Rs. 62,000). The 12GB RAM + 256GB model costs $899 (approximately Rs. 70,000), while the 16GB RAM + 256GB model costs $999. (roughly Rs. 78,000).
