Anticipation is building as Honor prepares to launch its latest flagship series, the Honor Win 2, on October 21 in China. Comprising the Win 2, Win RT 2, and Win Turbo 2, the vanilla variant of this highly anticipated smartphone has already made a significant splash on the renowned benchmarking platform AnTuTu. This early appearance offers tech and mobile enthusiasts a crucial glimpse into its raw performance capabilities and core hardware specifications, setting the stage for what could be a new benchmark in mobile computing.
The AnTuTu V12 listing reveals the upcoming Honor Win 2 (model number RTW-AN00) has achieved an extraordinary overall score of 5,702,964 points. This impressive figure is attributed to the formidable Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile processor, paired with an equally powerful Adreno 850 GPU. For power users and mobile gamers, this combination signifies an unparalleled level of processing prowess, capable of handling the most demanding applications and graphically intensive games with ease.
Further solidifying its flagship status, the AnTuTu data confirms the device will be equipped with a massive 16GB of RAM and an expansive 1TB of internal storage. Running on the cutting-edge Android 17 operating system out of the box, the Honor Win 2 promises a future-proof experience, offering seamless multitasking, ample space for high-resolution media and extensive game libraries, and access to the latest software innovations.
A deeper dive into the benchmarking results highlights the individual strengths of the Honor Win 2. The GPU alone scored an astonishing 2,072,221 points, indicating exceptional graphics rendering capabilities. Memory performance and user experience (UX) tests also returned impressive figures of 755,729 and 1,372,277 points, respectively. The listing explicitly mentions the inclusion of LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, components that guarantee lightning-fast data access, app loading, and file transfers, crucial for a truly responsive mobile experience.
Beyond raw power, the Honor Win 2 is expected to deliver a premium visual experience. Specifications point to a stunning 6.89-inch flat OLED display boasting a crisp 2K resolution and an ultra-smooth 185Hz refresh rate. This combination ensures incredibly vibrant visuals, deep blacks, and fluid motion, making it ideal for high-frame-rate gaming and immersive media consumption. The inclusion of ultra-narrow 0.93mm bezels on all four sides promises an expansive, edge-to-edge viewing area, while 5,920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming will significantly reduce eye strain during extended use, a welcome feature for avid mobile users.
Endurance and sustained performance are also key considerations for tech enthusiasts, and the Honor Win 2 appears poised to deliver. It will feature a substantial 10,100mAh single-cell battery, supported by rapid 100W wired charging and convenient wireless charging capabilities. To prevent thermal throttling during intense usage, the device integrates a sophisticated dual-fan cooling system. Furthermore, dual 1216 large-cavity speakers are set to provide a rich and immersive audio output, enhancing gaming, movie-watching, and music listening experiences.
Photography enthusiasts can anticipate a powerful imaging system, with expectations of a 200-megapixel main camera complemented by a secondary sensor. Security will be handled by an advanced ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Connectivity is robust with USB 3.2 Gen 1, ensuring fast data transfer. For added peace of mind, the device is projected to carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, signifying exceptional resistance to dust and water, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
While specific global pricing remains to be seen, it has been confirmed that the Honor Win 2 will retail for 5,499 Yuan in China after national subsidies, positioning it firmly within the premium segment. This pricing reflects the cutting-edge technology and high-end specifications packed into Honor’s latest contender, making it a device to watch for those seeking the pinnacle of mobile innovation.
